Responsibilities
- Build fullstack product workflows for Alamo, the internal MES/ERP system.
- Develop software to assist architects in designing and configuring homes.
- Create tools for the real estate team to evaluate land and project feasibility.
- Design and implement frontend experiences using Next.js, TypeScript, and Tailwind.
- Build backend services and APIs with NestJS, TypeScript, and PostgreSQL.
- Model complex operational domains including inventory and production workflows.
- Collaborate with various teams to streamline real-world processes into software.
- Own features from discovery through implementation and maintenance.
- Establish engineering patterns for scalable systems.
- Enhance system reliability, performance, and developer experience.
Requirements
- 6+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong experience in building fullstack web applications using TypeScript.
- Deep familiarity with React and modern frontend architecture.
- Strong backend engineering fundamentals including API design and data modeling.
- Experience with relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL.
- Proven track record of shipping complex product features in ambiguous environments.
- Strong product judgment and ability to collaborate with non-technical stakeholders.
- Attention to craft with clean abstractions and maintainable systems.
- Comfortable in a fast-moving, high-ownership environment.
- Experience in manufacturing, ERP, MES, or industrial software is a plus.
