Base Salary
$234k - $300k/yr
Responsibilities
- Partner with Product Managers to define ambiguous product requirements and prioritize impactful customer solutions.
- Lead technical strategy and execution for systems supporting log query performance and ingestion at scale.
- Explore and prototype capabilities spanning AI-powered log management, security, business operations, advanced queries, and external data sources.
- Mentor engineers across levels and help grow a high-performing collaborative team.
- Influence product strategy and initiatives across the Logs organization.
Requirements
- Deep experience architecting and scaling backend systems, particularly data-intensive or distributed infrastructure.
- Experience defining product direction and shipping impactful features in partnership with Product Managers and customers.
- Expertise debugging complex systems and optimizing performance across real-time data pipelines.
- Ability to lead technical strategy and execution in ambiguous environments.
- Curiosity about emerging technologies such as AI and automated observability.
- Strong mentorship, collaboration, and technical leadership skills.
