Responsibilities
- Develop drivers, software, and firmware for hardware and systems products.
- Specify, design, implement, test, sustain, and maintain software features.
- Apply software design, architecture, object-oriented programming, computer architecture, and operating system principles.
- Develop and debug Windows and Linux kernel-mode and user-mode drivers.
- Define and complete software projects while meeting quality and security requirements.
- Collaborate with hardware, software, systems, manufacturing, and global teams.
- Drive software development excellence, continuous improvement, and innovation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or electrical engineering.
- 5–8 years of experience.
- Strong understanding of computers and high-level programming languages, especially C/C++.
- Detailed knowledge of software design and architecture, object-oriented programming, hardware or systems programming, computer architecture, and operating systems.
- Demonstrated ability to define and complete software projects.
- Preferred experience with Windows driver development, Linux kernel-mode and user-mode driver development, Windows and Linux debugging tools, unit testing, and Python scripting.
- Ability to problem-solve, take initiative, work independently, own goals and schedules, and drive projects to completion.
- Ability to work effectively across groups and with global teams, with English proficiency for technical communication.
