Senior Software Engineer – Cloud & Data Platform

- Design, implement, and maintain scalable backend microservices and APIs using Python.
- Apply software architecture, design patterns, object-oriented programming, unit and integration testing, security practices, and peer code reviews.
- Deploy, configure, and manage AWS services including EC2, S3, Lambda, ECS, EKS, and API Gateway.
- Model MongoDB data structures, optimize indexes, and tune query performance.
- Manage relational database components using PL/SQL scripts and stored procedures.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
- Use Docker and Kubernetes to support application deployment and cloud resilience.
- Incorporate AI-assisted development, prompt engineering, or LLM-driven pipelines into software development processes.
- Investigate, triage, and resolve production incidents and conduct root cause analysis with long-term remediation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related quantitative field.
- 3–6 years of hands-on software development experience.
- Advanced proficiency in Python, practical AWS cloud experience, and database engineering experience with MongoDB.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD frameworks, PL/SQL, AI best practices, and modern developer tooling.
- Operational understanding of incident management standards and ITIL best practices.
