Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain software modules and server-side logic for the central platform.
- Write design documents, propose technical solutions, and solve challenging engineering problems.
- Maintain existing code, add features, fix bugs, refactor systems, and produce efficient, testable code.
- Integrate multiple data sources and databases and create schemas supporting business processes.
- Collaborate with engineering and cross-functional product teams using software delivery best practices.
- Provide technical mentorship to team members and estimate assigned work.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience with recognized and applicable industry certifications.
- At least 3 years of experience working as a software engineer.
- Proficiency with Golang; NodeJS and Python are additional advantages.
- Experience with cloud technologies, preferably AWS and Azure.
- Experience developing microservices and using containerization.
- Knowledge of authentication and authorization across multiple systems, servers, and environments.
- Understanding of scalable application design, accessibility, security compliance, and platform-specific optimization.
- Experience implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests.
- Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git; AWS Accreditation is a plus.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
