Base Salary

$228k - $342k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Define and maintain target-state architecture, reference architectures, design patterns, and engineering standards for AI-enabled Commercial and Medical systems.
  • Govern architecture alignment across CRM, omnichannel, patient services, and enterprise platforms.
  • Design integration patterns, real-time and batch data flows, event-driven architectures, and APIs across Salesforce, Veeva, data platforms, and downstream systems.
  • Establish architecture standards across cloud and data platforms, including environment, deployment, and DevOps patterns.
  • Lead build-versus-buy-versus-partner architecture decisions and serve as the final architecture authority for design reviews and major platform decisions.
  • Ensure architectures meet SOX, GxP, privacy, security, observability, auditability, and control requirements.
  • Provide hands-on guidance to Product, Engineering, and Data teams to translate requirements into production-ready architectures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 12+ years of experience in enterprise architecture or solution architecture roles.
  • Deep expertise in enterprise architecture, solution design, and distributed systems.
  • Strong experience with CRM and commercial platforms such as Salesforce and Veeva.
  • Proven ability to design complex integrations and data architectures at scale.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud and data warehouse platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Snowflake, plus modern data stacks.
  • Experience designing systems incorporating AI/ML and LLM-based capabilities, including understanding of AI architectures such as MCP.
  • Expertise in security, compliance, and regulated environments including SOX and GxP.
  • Proven track record delivering enterprise-scale platform and integration architecture.
  • Experience across Commercial, Medical, or patient services systems is required; pharma, biotech, or regulated healthcare experience is strongly preferred.
