Responsibilities
- Design and develop new product and application software and maintain software already in production.
- Troubleshoot basic issue reports, reproduce issues, evaluate technical causes, and implement and test software solutions.
- Identify and resolve basic-scope defects using engineering tools and techniques.
- Apply design standards and procedures to document and implement basic software designs.
- Integrate with and provide feedback on products in development when possible.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Math, Physics, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Knowledge, education, experience, or training sufficient to develop basic software in Kotlin or Java for the Android platform.
- Cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 as a general rule.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Preferred qualifications include a cumulative GPA of at least 3.5, consumer-product design or internship experience, and prior teamwork experience.
