Responsibilities
- Lead the design, deployment, and maintenance of scalable API integrations for orders, menus, status updates, POS systems, and ERP systems.
- Develop backend services using one or more core languages including Java, Go, Kotlin, C++, C#, Scala, or Rust.
- Own data flow across complex systems and establish practices for querying, synchronizing, and modeling restaurant data at scale.
- Partner with Product Managers and global external stakeholders to define integration strategy and specifications.
- Own complex technical projects from architectural design through testing and full deployment.
- Mentor engineers and help raise the team’s technical quality and delivery speed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required, ideally in Computer Science or a related field.
- At least 6 years of professional experience as a Backend or Integration Software Engineer.
- Deep, proven ability to deliver production-ready code in at least one core backend language: Java, Go, Kotlin, C++, or C#.
- Demonstrated ownership of projects and solutions with measurable technical architecture and business stakeholder impact.
- Good English proficiency for collaboration with the global team.
- A proactive, problem-solving attitude and willingness to grow.
