Base Salary
$184k - $288k/yr
Responsibilities
- Implement power and thermal management software features in the Linux kernel and user space.
- Collaborate with power architects and hardware and software engineers on platform power estimation and optimization.
- Optimize the software stack for compute and memory utilization, latency, power consumption, efficiency, and responsiveness across edge AI and robotics workloads.
- Perform system-level debugging and solve platform performance and power-management problems.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, systems engineering, or a related software/hardware engineering major, or equivalent experience.
- At least 8 years of software development experience with significant Linux focus.
- Excellent C programming and debugging skills in Linux kernel and user-space software.
- Background working with embedded systems and ARM processors.
- Strong system-level debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Preferred: understanding of Linux power and thermal management features, including scheduling, dynamic frequency scaling, runtime power management, suspend to RAM, and thermal zones.
- Preferred: experience working with Linux and open-source software communities.
Benefits
- Competitive base salary of USD 184,000–287,500, plus equity and benefits.
