Responsibilities
- Build and maintain software platforms supporting large-scale quantitative research operations and portfolio production.
- Develop scalable distributed systems and high-performance applications on Linux.
- Research, design, code, test, and deploy firmwide platforms and tooling.
- Work collaboratively with quantitative researchers and portfolio managers.
- Address technical challenges involving graph computation, streaming, and dataflow systems where applicable.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of experience writing production-quality Python code on Linux.
- Strong understanding of Linux system programming fundamentals.
- Ability to develop large-scale distributed systems.
- Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, high-performance application design, and concurrency patterns.
- Willingness to learn C++; prior C++ experience is a strong plus.
- Strong interest in machine learning, deep learning, and backtesting platform design and development; prior experience is not required.
- Experience with large-scale graph data computation or streaming/dataflow systems is advantageous.
- Self-motivated, able to work independently with minimal direction, and proficient in English.
