Responsibilities
- Define solution architectures aligned with SAP Business AI Platform strategy and corporate standards.
- Lead architecture discussions involving artificial intelligence, AI agents, SAP Joule, automation, and digital platforms.
- Create conceptual, logical, and reference architectures for development initiatives.
- Partner with Product Owners, Engineering Managers, and engineering teams to translate business requirements into scalable solutions.
- Evaluate emerging technologies, market trends, and platform capabilities.
- Conduct current-state and future-state analyses and identify architectural gaps.
- Define guidance for integration, security, governance, observability, and solution quality.
- Support technology decisions, architectural standards, and platform selection.
- Mentor product and engineering teams and serve as an architecture reference.
- Collaborate with multiple teams and stakeholders in a global environment.
Requirements
- Completed degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Advanced English proficiency sufficient to conduct meetings, argue positions, negotiate, and deliver training.
- Experience with SAP solution architecture, including SAP S/4HANA, SAP BTP, or related SAP ecosystem technologies.
- Knowledge of integrating SAP solutions with enterprise applications using APIs, events, and other integration technologies.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms, integrations, APIs, and distributed architectures.
- Experience defining scalable, secure, and resilient architectures.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technology architectures and solutions.
- Experience conducting architectural analyses, defining roadmaps, and identifying future capabilities.
- Ability to influence technical decisions and collaborate with multiple teams and stakeholders.
- Strong analytical thinking, systems perspective, and strategic orientation.
- Experience with artificial intelligence, Generative AI, AI agents, Large Language Models, or SAP Joule is preferred.
- Knowledge of architectural patterns for digital platforms, automation, and event-driven solutions is preferred.
- SAP, enterprise architecture, or cloud architecture certifications are preferred.
- Experience with Azure, AWS, or SAP Cloud and global digital transformation initiatives is preferred.
- Availability for occasional travel of up to 10%.
