Base Salary
$68k - $102k/yr
Responsibilities
- Conduct quality-control testing and analyze results against software standards and end-user requirements.
- Work with stakeholders to understand requirements and develop test strategies and scenarios.
- Develop test plans, schedules, and testing estimates with leads and managers.
- Design, script, and maintain automated tests and test environments using C#.
- Plan and execute diagnostic, functional, API, backend, container, and other product tests.
- Debug software through systematic testing, maintain quality standards, and document test results and procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a related technical field.
- At least 3 years of enterprise software QA experience.
- Experience testing on-premises and cloud-based applications.
- Knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
- Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or Swagger.
- Experience testing enterprise applications, APIs, and backend services hosted on Linux servers.
- Experience developing and maintaining automation scripts in C#.
- Experience testing with Docker and related containerization technology, and Kubernetes or related orchestration software.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Ability to analyze information, draw accurate conclusions, and prepare test reports.
- Understanding of QA methodology and the product development life cycle, with strong debugging and root-cause-analysis skills.
- Preferred qualifications include load, stress, and performance testing; AI-assisted testing with GitHub Copilot or ChatGPT; Playwright; and GitLab.
