Base Salary

$300k - $405k/yr

Responsibilities

Build and maintain full-stack applications and infrastructure for researchers.
Partner with research teams to understand workflows and translate them into technical solutions.
Design intuitive interfaces for complex research tasks.
Create reusable platforms to accelerate new research applications.
Rapidly prototype solutions and iterate based on user feedback.
Take ownership of product areas from design to implementation.
Contribute to technical strategy and architectural decisions.
Mentor other engineers and establish best practices.

5+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on full-stack development.
Ability to rapidly iterate and ship solutions from concept to prototype.
Experience building tools or platforms for technical users.
Demonstrated high agency and independence in ambiguous environments.
Strong product instincts to identify and solve the right problems.
Proficiency in modern web technologies like React, TypeScript, and Python.
Track record of building user-facing applications that are well-received.
Effective communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Motivated by the societal impacts of work and aligned with Anthropic's mission.
