Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain customer-facing features that improve acquisition, activation, engagement, retention, and monetization.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, Data, Marketing, and Customer Success to identify growth opportunities and inform product decisions.
- Design, implement, and analyze experiments using feature flags, A/B testing, and analytics.
- Build reliable instrumentation and event pipelines to understand customer behavior.
- Contribute to architecture, technical design, platform improvements, and engineering strategy.
- Improve the performance, reliability, accessibility, and scalability of critical user journeys.
- Mentor engineers through technical leadership, code reviews, design discussions, and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience as a software engineer building and operating production software.
- Strong proficiency with modern web applications and experience with TypeScript, React, Node.js, and MongoDB or similar technologies.
- Familiarity with Model Context Protocol and the broader AI tooling ecosystem, plus the ability to learn emerging AI technologies.
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools and workflows.
- Experience building customer-facing products with Product and Design teams.
- Experience using analytics, data, business metrics, and product experiments to inform decisions.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals in system design, testing, observability, and operational excellence.
- Strong communication, collaboration, ownership, project delivery, and mentoring skills.
- Experience on a Growth or Engagement team or in a product engineering role focused on experimentation and customer lifecycle improvements.
