Responsibilities
- Develop solution, application, data, integration, and cloud architectures for financial-services clients.
- Translate business requirements into viable technical architectures and solution concepts.
- Create target architectures, transformation roadmaps, and implementation plans.
- Assess existing system landscapes and identify opportunities to improve architecture, integration, scalability, security, and maintainability.
- Support decisions involving cloud platforms, APIs, integration architectures, data architectures, and technology stacks.
- Coordinate business, IT, development, and other technical and functional stakeholders.
- Represent architecture decisions to client stakeholders and build trusted professional relationships.
- Take responsibility for architecture workstreams, subprojects, and technical teams depending on experience.
- Contribute to Capco’s internal technology and architecture capabilities and share expertise.
Requirements
- Completed university degree, for example in computer science, business informatics, engineering, or natural sciences, or a comparable qualification.
- Several years of relevant professional experience and substantial experience designing and implementing solution architectures.
- Broad technical understanding and the ability to translate complex business requirements into technical architectures and implementable solution concepts.
- Experience with modern and traditional system landscapes and architecture principles in areas such as cloud, APIs, microservices, integration, and data.
- Experience with at least one relevant cloud platform and understanding of cloud-native architecture, security, governance, and scalability.
- Knowledge of common programming languages, frameworks, and development practices; hands-on development experience is advantageous but not the primary focus.
- Ability to evaluate solution options based on business value, technical feasibility, costs, risks, and strategic target architecture.
- Ideally, experience coordinating technical teams and workstreams and managing diverse business and technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, conceptual, communication, and initiative-taking skills.
- Fluent German and English and flexibility for hybrid collaboration and on-site client assignments.
