Base Salary
$115k - $195k/yr
Responsibilities
- Participate in software architecture, design reviews, requirements definition, coding, integration, testing, deployment, and troubleshooting.
- Develop and maintain software features for current and future wafer inspection product generations.
- Prepare software requirements documents and software design artifacts.
- Analyze software performance and investigate and resolve escalated issues and defects.
- Map hardware and system requirements to software designs in collaboration with hardware and systems/application teams.
- Collaborate with global, multidisciplinary teams throughout the software product lifecycle.
- Support test case development and test execution with the SQE team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with at least 3 years of experience, or master’s degree with at least 1 year of experience.
- Software development experience with C++, C#, or the .NET Framework.
- Knowledge of STL, WinDBG, and Windows Internals.
- Architecture and design experience using modular, object-oriented programming, and object-oriented design methodologies.
- Hands-on C# or C++ programming experience, including multithreading on Windows.
- Experience designing, implementing, and unit testing software using Microsoft Visual Studio C# or C++.
- Experience designing and implementing GUIs using the .NET Framework and .NET Core.
- Ability to document software design artifacts and algorithm specifications.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Semiconductor process experience is highly desirable.

- Base pay range is $114,800.00–$195,200.00 annually for the primary Milpitas, California location.
