Base Salary
$175k - $215k/yr
Responsibilities
- Implement and scale Waymo’s core dynamic pricing engine across all operating markets.
- Develop and deploy machine learning models and optimization algorithms for real-time pricing.
- Build and maintain infrastructure for pricing experimentation, monitoring, and analysis.
- Productionize pricing models such as route-specific and session-based pricing solutions in partnership with product data scientists.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 4 years of experience programming in backend coding languages.
- Experience building backend distributed systems.
- Experience with C++ is preferred.
- A master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience is preferred.
- Experience developing low-latency, large-scale, user-facing distributed systems is preferred.
- Experience developing machine learning or optimization infrastructure and pipelines is preferred.
- Prior experience building and deploying machine learning or optimization models into production is preferred.
- Prior experience at a ride-hailing or marketplace company is preferred.
