Base Salary

$120k - $150k/yr

Responsibilities

Assess AI tools, models, agents, and integrations before adoption, including data flows, connector and plugin risks, prompt injection, and data leakage.
Implement and operate access management, data loss prevention, logging, and usage-monitoring controls on approved AI platforms.
Partner with Engineering to design AI features securely from the start.
Build and maintain AI security standards, threat models, and incident response playbooks.
Enforce AI risk tiers and maintain an inventory of AI usage across the company.
Advise teams on secure and practical AI adoption.

At least 2 years of experience in security engineering, application security, cloud security, or a related area, or equivalent experience.
Hands-on experience securing or building AI/LLM-based systems and familiarity with their failure modes.
Understanding of the LLM attack surface, including prompt injection, data exfiltration, and agent or tool misuse.
Familiarity with AI platforms and APIs such as Anthropic and OpenAI, SaaS security tooling, and identity providers such as Okta.
Strong threat-modeling skills and the ability to communicate AI risk to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Base compensation of $120,000-$150,000 plus bonus and benefits.
