Base Salary
$120k - $150k/yr
Responsibilities
- Assess AI tools, models, agents, and integrations before adoption, including data flows, connector and plugin risks, prompt injection, and data leakage.
- Implement and operate access management, data loss prevention, logging, and usage-monitoring controls on approved AI platforms.
- Partner with Engineering to design AI features securely from the start.
- Build and maintain AI security standards, threat models, and incident response playbooks.
- Enforce AI risk tiers and maintain an inventory of AI usage across the company.
- Advise teams on secure and practical AI adoption.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in security engineering, application security, cloud security, or a related area, or equivalent experience.
- Hands-on experience securing or building AI/LLM-based systems and familiarity with their failure modes.
- Understanding of the LLM attack surface, including prompt injection, data exfiltration, and agent or tool misuse.
- Familiarity with AI platforms and APIs such as Anthropic and OpenAI, SaaS security tooling, and identity providers such as Okta.
- Strong threat-modeling skills and the ability to communicate AI risk to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
