Base Salary
$106k - $159k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop unit tests in Embedded C for Arm Cortex and PIC microcontrollers.
- Develop high- and low-level test cases and procedures in accordance with DO-178.
- Perform independent reviews of designs, test cases, and test procedures.
- Review and integrate third-party verification and validation vendor tests.
- Create issues using problem-reporting tools.
- Use VectorCAST and pipeline automation for testing.
- Produce reports and documentation required for verification and validation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Electrical and Computer Engineering, or equivalent work history.
- 3–5 years of experience.
- U.S. citizenship due to ITAR, CUI, and NOFORN requirements.
- Experience with embedded software languages and tools and test methods for debugging firmware solutions.
- Understanding of the DO-178 certification process from design through certification.
- Knowledge of Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement practices, including Kaizen, 5S, and 6σ.
- Experience with Agile and waterfall development approaches.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, project management, and organizational skills.
