Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement AI/ML solutions from proof of concept and pilot through production deployment.
- Build and apply traditional machine learning models, large language models, generative AI, retrieval-augmented generation, and agentic AI systems.
- Develop end-to-end ML pipelines covering data preparation, training, evaluation, and deployment integration.
- Design, train, and tune deep neural networks and apply model evaluation frameworks.
- Assess model performance, generalization, bias, resilience to edge cases, adversarial inputs, accuracy, robustness, fairness, and explainability.
- Partner with platform and engineering teams on deployment, monitoring, and AI system lifecycle management.
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, data scientists, and business stakeholders on scope, technical approach, success metrics, and deployment requirements.
- Contribute to documentation, governance, and compliance processes for enterprise and regulated healthcare environments.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
- 5–10 years of job-related experience.
- Proficiency in AI programming languages such as Python.
- Hands-on experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn, AWS Bedrock, and Azure AI Foundry.
- Solid software engineering skills, including testing, code quality, modular design, and performance awareness.
- Experience designing, training, and tuning deep neural networks and understanding model architecture, training dynamics, and evaluation techniques.
- Exposure to autonomous or multi-agent systems, agent orchestration, tool usage, and reliability and safety considerations for agent-based systems.
- Familiarity with deploying or supporting AI solutions on cloud platforms.
- Professional proficiency in English.
- Master’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Machine Learning, AI, or a related field is preferred.
- Exposure to regulated industries such as healthcare and understanding of compliance and governance requirements are preferred.
