Base Salary
$88k - $135k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain software for robotic systems and embedded interfaces.
- Implement software for motion-control systems and production support tools.
- Support software development from concept through deployment and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and interfaces.
- Integrate software with various hardware components and systems.
- Troubleshoot issues across software and hardware systems.
- Ensure software quality through code reviews and automated testing.
Requirements
- Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or equivalent experience.
- 0-2 years of professional software engineering experience for Software Engineer I; 2-5 years for Software Engineer II.
- Strong proficiency in C++ and/or Python.
- Experience with robotics frameworks such as ROS or ROS 2.
- Hands-on experience integrating software with hardware components.
- Understanding of real-time or embedded software and control loops.
- Solid software engineering fundamentals and experience in Linux environments.
