Base Salary
$81k - $142k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end quality engineering activities, including test strategy, planning, execution, defect management, and release validation.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks using Java, TypeScript, Playwright, Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, Protractor, Cucumber, TestNG, and JUnit.
- Create and execute automated and manual functional, integration, regression, end-to-end, API, database, mobile, and cross-browser tests.
- Perform API testing with Postman and SOAP UI and performance testing with JMeter and NeoLoad.
- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Git, Maven, and GitHub Copilot.
- Perform data validation, backend testing, and defect analysis using Oracle SQL and PL/SQL.
- Collaborate with product owners, developers, business analysts, and stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Identify testing risks, improve quality processes, and drive automation best practices across teams.
- Support testing for prior authorization, utilization management, provider portals, clinical workflows, and continuity-of-care healthcare applications.
Requirements
- 10+ years of software quality engineering experience covering manual testing, automation testing, test planning, defect management, and Agile delivery.
- Strong hands-on experience developing test automation frameworks with Java, TypeScript, Playwright, Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, Protractor, Cucumber, TestNG, and JUnit.
- Experience with functional, integration, regression, end-to-end, API, database, mobile, and cross-browser testing.
- Strong Oracle SQL and PL/SQL experience for database validation, data integrity testing, and backend analysis.
- Proficiency with Postman, SOAP UI, JMeter, and NeoLoad.
- Experience integrating automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Git, Maven, and GitHub Copilot.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, software development lifecycle processes, and defect management.
- Strong healthcare domain experience, particularly with prior authorization, utilization management, provider portals, clinical workflows, and continuity of care.
- Preferred qualifications include healthcare payer and provider platform expertise, enterprise-scale automation leadership, automation-first testing and CI/CD quality gates experience, stakeholder management skills, and experience using GitHub Copilot for AI-assisted development and testing.
