Base Salary
$182k - $242k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and own support-facing tools for case triage, intelligent routing, expert engagement, and incident/change-management integration.
- Develop AI-powered assistants and automations for root-cause discovery, knowledge retrieval, and resolution quality.
- Create dashboards, alerts, and signals and integrate observability into tooling to reduce MTTR.
- Build self-service and guided diagnostics for Support/CX teams and escalation workflows.
- Codify reliability and support practices into services, APIs, and Kubernetes-native controllers or operators.
- Partner with leadership and internal stakeholders to prioritize roadmaps, drive adoption, and measure business impact.
- Participate in an on-call rotation for owned tooling.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of software or infrastructure engineering experience building and operating production services.
- Proficiency in Go or Python, or equivalent experience.
- Strong fundamentals in Linux, containers, Kubernetes, and distributed-systems debugging.
- Experience with observability using metrics, logs, and traces and applying data to reliability and support outcomes.
- Experience with incident management and operational practices such as progressive delivery, testing strategies, error budgets, and fault-tolerant design.
- Ability to collaborate with Support/CX, Product, SRE, and service owners.
- Preferred: experience with support or operations tooling, ticketing and incident systems, status pages, knowledge-management or chat/alerting integrations, workflow automation, productivity-platform integrations, AI/ML retrieval or summarization tooling, and Kubernetes controllers, operators, or platform services.
