Base Salary
$180k - $230k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and refine DSP algorithms to detect, identify, and track RF signals.
- Develop algorithms and software for distributed spectrum sensing and passive radar systems.
- Integrate and test signal-processing software with RF/SDR hardware and host processing platforms.
- Work with recorded and synthetic I/Q data.
- Contribute to software integration, modeling, and field demonstrations.
- Collaborate with Business Development, Production, and other Engineering teams.
- Document technical details and present findings.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of relevant development experience.
- Experience with RF sensing systems and advanced signal-processing techniques.
- Experience working with recorded I/Q data and generating synthetic I/Q data.
- Strong theoretical and practical knowledge of FFT analysis, matched filtering, and cyclostationary analysis.
- Proficiency in Python, C++, or MATLAB for algorithm development and codebase integration.
- Experience with software-defined radios and associated signal-processing toolkits.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- U.S. citizenship.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance.
- Preferred: master’s degree in a relevant field, current U.S. security clearance, cyclostationary signal-processing expertise, communication-waveform identification experience, spectrum-sensing and classification expertise, tactical signal-processing experience, RFSoC implementation experience, JIRA and Confluence experience, and DoD, military, or government experience.
