Responsibilities
- Design and develop Python-based solutions for risk integration, orchestration, and data processing.
- Build and manage end-to-end risk workflows covering trade ingestion, computation, aggregation, and reporting.
- Develop and maintain test harnesses, regression frameworks, and quality engineering standards.
- Optimize data pipelines and compute frameworks for performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and automate engineering tasks using Python, Shell, and PowerShell.
- Apply AI and agentic workflow concepts to improve automation and operational efficiency.
- Support financial risk platform integrations, including source onboarding, market data sourcing, reference data onboarding, price validation, reconciliation, issue triage, audit support, controls, and production resiliency.
- Implement secure and controlled solution architectures incorporating IT controls, vulnerability management, security best practices, and compliance frameworks.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related discipline.
- Strong hands-on experience with Python, PySpark, and Java.
- Experience with SQL Server, Oracle, and MongoDB.
- Proficiency in Linux shell scripting and Windows PowerShell.
- Experience with CI/CD, integration, workflow orchestration, and test automation.
- Strong knowledge of market risk and counterparty risk concepts, including VaR/SVaR, sensitivities, stress testing, PnL, pricing, and exposure measures.
- Knowledge of fixed income instruments, cash equities, FX, and derivatives.
- Experience with financial risk platforms and integrations, including Quant Model, and with data onboarding, validation, quality controls, reconciliation, workflow orchestration, and production support.
- Strong understanding of solution architecture and secure, controlled environments, including IT controls, vulnerability management, security practices, and compliance frameworks.
- Exposure to AI/ML, agentic workflows, and automation-first engineering.
