Responsibilities
- Lead development and enhancement of AMD’s common automation framework for the SPSE team.
- Design and develop APIs for integration using Java or Python.
- Deploy applications in containerized server infrastructure.
- Design and develop web applications and web services.
- Design and manage Azure-based cloud solutions.
- Design, develop, and support post-silicon validation efforts.
- Create and maintain unit and integration tests.
- Improve product performance and optimization efforts in collaboration with AMD architecture specialists.
- Participate in new ASIC and hardware bring-ups.
- Debug and resolve existing issues while researching more efficient approaches.
- Develop technical relationships with peers and partners.
- Guide and mentor junior team members and drive projects to completion.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of a high-level programming language such as Python or Java.
- Experience with REST, XML, and JSON web service technologies.
- Experience with continuous integration frameworks, preferably Jenkins.
- Strong troubleshooting, root cause analysis, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, integration architectures, and software development practices.
- Familiarity with container technology such as Docker and cloud-based solutions such as Azure.
- Experience with concurrent programming and threading APIs.
- Experience with Windows, Linux, and/or Android operating system development.
- Experience with software development tools including debuggers, source code control systems such as GitHub, and profilers is a plus.
- Effective communication, interpersonal, leadership, ownership, and mentoring skills.
