Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Java-based components and features with support from experienced developers.
- Participate in requirements analysis, implementation, testing, and deployment across the software development lifecycle.
- Write clean, readable, and maintainable code according to team standards.
- Investigate and fix bugs and improve existing functionality.
- Collaborate with Java developers, QA engineers, and other team members.
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and the Agile Scrum process.
- Contribute to automation and efficiency improvements.
- Use AI-powered tools responsibly to improve development productivity, explore solutions, and automate repetitive work.
- Continuously develop technical skills and share knowledge.
Requirements
- Good understanding of Java fundamentals and Java Core.
- Basic understanding of object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms.
- Some experience with SQL and relational databases.
- Basic understanding of software development and version control with Git.
- Understanding of unit testing and the importance of automated tests.
- Academic, personal, or professional experience developing software in Java.
- Willingness to learn Spring, Spring Boot, and other team technologies.
- Ability to work collaboratively, ask questions, and communicate effectively in English.
- Preferred experience includes Spring or Spring Boot, REST APIs, Maven or Gradle, Docker, CI/CD, Git-based workflows, personal or university Java projects, internships, commercial software development, and AI tools for coding or debugging.
