Responsibilities
- Evaluate, integrate, and maintain developer tools, AI agents, repository guidance, and related integrations.
- Build and operate AI-agent workflows in CI and scheduled processes to investigate failures, propose fixes, and provide actionable evidence.
- Improve automated pull request reviews by increasing finding accuracy and reducing reviewer noise.
- Develop code-quality checks for complexity, function and file size, dependency cycles, and performance regressions.
- Partner with package owners on practical thresholds and targeted refactoring.
- Improve development environments, testing, build, and release workflows so engineers and agents can verify changes reliably.
- Prioritize tooling improvements with engineering teams, support adoption through documentation and onboarding, and measure effectiveness, reliability, and operating costs.
Requirements
- Experience building and maintaining developer tools or engineering automation used by others.
- Strong JavaScript, TypeScript, and Node.js skills.
- Hands-on experience using and integrating AI coding tools or agents, including validating outputs and applying human review.
- Experience with Git, automated testing, and systematically debugging build, test, or integration failures.
- Strong focus on maintainable code, useful automated checks, and behavior-preserving refactoring.
- Ability to work independently, collaborate with engineers, and communicate clearly in English within a globally distributed remote team.
