Responsibilities
- Write maintainable Kotlin code for incremental product features.
- Design and implement complex, scalable Android features with cross-module coordination.
- Review code, mentor engineers, and help maintain a high technical standard.
- Contribute to architectural discussions and evaluate technical trade-offs.
- Collaborate with product, design, backend, and engineering teams to define solutions.
- Translate product needs into scalable technical implementations.
- Build, test, and release new versions of the Android application.
- Write automated tests and improve code quality, reliability, and performance.
- Identify performance bottlenecks and address technical debt.
- Improve CI/CD pipelines, testing strategies, and development workflows.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional Android development experience.
- Deep knowledge of Kotlin, Android SDK, and modern architecture patterns including MVVM, MVI, and Clean Architecture.
- Strong experience with Jetpack Compose and modern Android tooling.
- Solid understanding of reactive programming with Coroutines and Flow.
- Experience building modular, maintainable, and testable codebases.
- Strong understanding of server-side APIs and RESTful principles.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and release processes.
- Familiarity with design systems and component libraries.
- Willingness to mentor other engineers and lead by example.
- High standards for code quality and architectural excellence.
- Collaborative approach and passion for building user experiences.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
