Base Salary

$135k - $180k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Lead the technical solution cycle with account executives, product specialists, partners, and professional services from discovery through close.
  • Understand higher education institutional needs and map student lifecycle, academic, enrollment, financial aid, and alumni processes to Salesforce solutions.
  • Configure, prepare, and present tailored Salesforce demonstrations, Agentforce and Data 360 use cases, proofs of concept, workshops, and technical deep-dives.
  • Lead technical responses to RFPs and RFIs and articulate Salesforce’s business and technical value to stakeholders ranging from IT teams to university presidents.
  • Support consumption and activation through QBRs, health checks, technical workshops, use-case scoping, consumption estimation, and adoption plans.
  • Build education-industry expertise, complete training and certifications, collaborate cross-functionally, and meet customer engagement, solution development, and revenue objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or MIS.
  • At least 7 years of combined experience with Salesforce or other CRM solutions, focused on education.
  • At least 5 years of experience in solution engineering, consulting, enterprise software delivery, or customer success.
  • Artificial intelligence and/or data certifications related to generative AI and LLM concepts, preferably Salesforce certifications.
  • Deep understanding of higher education operations, including student lifecycle management, academic operations, financial aid, student success, enrollment, and alumni relations.
  • Experience configuring and demonstrating Salesforce or similar enterprise platforms in sales or implementation contexts.
  • Strong discovery, communication, presentation, time management, prioritization, collaboration, and customer-facing consulting skills.
  • Experience with RFP and proposal processes and the ability to translate complex technical concepts into value-driven narratives.
  • Salesforce certifications such as Administrator, Education Cloud Consultant, Data 360, and Experience Cloud are valued.
  • Experience with Agentforce for Education, Salesforce Industries (Vlocity), OmniScript, or Industry Common Components is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 40% for client meetings, presentations, and industry events.
