Base Salary
$290k - $395k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own data access, validation, orchestration, and cataloguing across research and production.
- Engineer deployment processes for moving research experiments into production.
- Build tooling for diverse vendor data integration and unified symbol mappings.
- Support data pipelines with temporal semantics across varying latency and correctness requirements.
- Sequence platform migrations toward shared abstractions while minimizing disruption to active trading systems.
- Lead complex cross-company projects with research, legal, trading, finance operations, data, and infrastructure teams.
- Build tooling for integrating new assets and markets.
- Improve observability across data cataloguing, experiment tracking, and production service-level agreements.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in backend, data pipelines, or platform engineering.
- Experience owning platform systems that other teams depend on daily, making decomposition decisions involving data access layers, API versioning, data models, and migration sequencing.
- Strong debugging and observability instincts, including the ability to navigate unfamiliar codebases and datasets across complex data pipelines.
- Computer Science degree or equivalent experience.
