Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of imaging algorithms using in-house ultrasound transducers and high-performance computing.
- Develop high-resolution acoustic simulation systems that model ultrasound propagation and scattering and predict delivered dose.
- Architect computer vision and real-time inference systems for tracking brain motion and adapting treatment-targeting parameters.
- Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, ultrasound, transducer-design, and neuroscience teams to productionize research concepts.
- Define technical strategy and best practices for machine learning, modeling, simulation, and signal-processing infrastructure.
- Mentor engineers through technical leadership, code review, and systems-level guidance.
- Help shape the long-term machine learning roadmap.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of industry experience.
- Strong first-principles understanding of engineering, physics, and signal processing.
- Experience writing production-level code, preferably in Python.
- A degree in Computer Science or a similar engineering discipline.
- Experience shipping products that deliver real-world value, ideally involving messy real-world sensors.
- High integrity and strong professional judgment.
- Prior ultrasound or neuroscience experience is not required.
