Responsibilities
- Execute and occasionally lead software testing activities.
- Manage manual test scripts, test cases, defects, and test execution activities.
- Perform System Integration Testing, User Acceptance Testing, regression testing, and system defect management.
- Participate in artifact review and inspection meetings and provide feedback.
- Support quality engineering strategy implementation and identify and escalate QA process issues.
- Develop software applications, programming, scripting, and performance testing in Microsoft environments.
- Author basic test matrices from business and technical requirements.
- Take ownership of basic QA planning tasks with some supervision.
- Coach others on correct QA processes at a basic level.
Requirements
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in manual software testing.
- Preferred experience writing automated test scripts using Selenium or Appium.
- Technical proficiency in C#, SQL, and .NET.
- Knowledge of quality engineering strategy and planning.
- Understanding of software development standards and SDLC processes and methods.
- Ability to translate application and business needs into testing work and manage testing to quality and schedule standards.
