Base Salary
$168k - $227k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design software systems with peer teams and customers to fulfill spacecraft mission needs.
- Develop cloud-native software systems using Java and Python.
- Use AWS and other Amazon technologies to build highly available software services.
- Design and develop performant systems that meet mission criteria and requirements.
- Mentor and help onboard new team members.
- Lead technical roadmap definition and determine which features and performance improvements to build.
- Support and operate the systems built for autonomous spacecraft management.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 5 years of programming experience with at least one software programming language.
- At least 5 years of experience leading the design or architecture of new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or engineering team lead.
- Preferred: 5+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
- Must meet applicable U.S. export control eligibility requirements as a U.S. citizen or national, permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
