Base Salary
$230k - $285k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead technical strategy and decision-making for assigned domains.
- Use AI to build, optimize, and maintain software systems.
- Mentor and develop early-career engineers.
- Collaborate across disciplines to understand the healthcare domain and iterate on projects.
- Protect user privacy and security through software engineering best practices.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of software engineering experience.
- Generalist software engineering mindset with willingness to learn new languages, frameworks, and techniques.
- Demonstrated ability to build complex systems using AI coding agents, including Claude Code.
- Ability to learn quickly and mentor others.
- Familiarity with data security and HIPAA compliance.
- Commitment to a high-performing, mission-driven, fast-paced startup environment with strong accountability and feedback.
