Responsibilities
- Design, develop, troubleshoot, and maintain secure, scalable production software and algorithms.
- Create architecture and design artifacts for complex applications and ensure implementation meets design constraints.
- Analyze large and diverse datasets to produce visualizations and reporting that improve software applications and systems.
- Identify hidden problems and data patterns to improve coding hygiene, architecture, and operational stability.
- Use authorized AI-assisted development tools for coding, refactoring, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation while validating their outputs.
- Participate in software engineering communities of practice and technology-focused events.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and proficient applied experience.
- Hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing, debugging, maintenance, and operational stability.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages and experience with database querying languages.
- Experience developing and maintaining software in a large corporate environment.
- Knowledge of the software development lifecycle, application resiliency, security, and agile practices.
- Experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools and critically evaluating generated outputs.
- Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure input and output handling, resiliency, and security expectations.
- Preferred: hands-on Python experience, object-oriented database experience, familiarity with modern front-end technologies, and exposure to cloud technologies.
