Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain the VB.NET WinForms billing workflow platform.
- Write and optimize T-SQL, stored procedures, and SQL Server Agent jobs.
- Develop features, system enhancements, performance improvements, and modernization initiatives.
- Help implement the future ASP.NET Core and Blazor web architecture.
- Write and maintain automated unit, functional, and regression tests while expanding test coverage.
- Participate in code reviews, coding standards, style-guide compliance, and code-audit processes.
- Translate billing workflow requirements into technical solutions with BI, Analyst, Processing, and Submission stakeholders.
- Contribute to technical design discussions for the current and future systems under senior-engineer guidance.
- Use Claude Code and other AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity and code quality.
Requirements
- Fluent English communication skills at C1 level or equivalent.
- Three to five years of hands-on software development experience.
- Hands-on experience with VB.NET and .NET Framework.
- Hands-on T-SQL and SQL Server experience, including database design, query optimization, stored procedures, and SQL Server Agent scheduling.
- Experience developing and maintaining WinForms desktop applications, including MDI architecture.
- Experience writing and maintaining automated tests in a .NET environment.
- Ability to design, estimate, and deliver software solutions from business requirements.
- Understanding of financial systems, financial processes, and billing or invoicing terminology is highly desirable.
- Exposure to C#, ASP.NET Core, Blazor, or Entity Framework Core is a plus.
- Familiarity with Angular is a plus.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub, and SonarQube or similar code-quality gating tools is a plus.
- Experience with Claude Code or similar AI-assisted development tools is preferred.
- Willingness to grow technical ownership with mentorship and guidance from senior engineers.
