Base Salary
$188k - $244k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect and develop highly reliable embedded software.
- Integrate vendor components into a common software framework with low-level CAN, LIN, I2C, SPI, and UART communication.
- Implement real-time operating system applications as required by the product.
- Develop custom in-vehicle infotainment device and OTA solutions.
- Develop and customize Linux- and Android-based software and services.
- Bring up custom software on new devices, productionize it, and manage ongoing product maintenance with cross-functional teams.
- Use modern build tools and CI/CD pipelines.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
- At least three years of experience in the offered role or an occupation where the required experience was gained.
- Experience with embedded software development using C, C++, and/or assembly languages.
- Experience designing embedded Linux system software, developing services, and integrating middleware.
- Software and system debugging skills on general-purpose embedded compute platforms.
- Experience developing software for embedded systems and custom SoCs.
- Knowledge of UART, SPI, I2C, GPIO, TCP, and UDP.
- Experience with sensor integration and driver development for radar, IMU, gyroscopes, and accelerometers.
- Experience with build and CI/CD tools including CMake, Git, and Jenkins.
