Responsibilities
- Formulate business problems into practical, efficient, and scalable AI and machine learning solutions.
- Develop machine learning algorithms, models, computational systems, and scalable data pipelines for training and production.
- Customize and apply deep learning and generative AI models, including for edge-device and high-performance computing use cases.
- Research and develop AI and high-performance computing algorithms, models, simulations, and applications.
- Preprocess large-scale datasets and implement efficient model and knowledge storage and retrieval mechanisms.
- Deploy, monitor, alert on, audit, and maintain production machine learning systems at scale.
- Explain the business value of model approaches and collaborate with business, technical, and client-side stakeholders to integrate solutions into production.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, data science, or a related field.
- Work or coursework experience in machine learning engineering or machine learning science, including deploying models in production at scale.
- Experience applying computer science foundations involving computer architecture, systems engineering, and programming.
- Proficiency in Python and Python-based AI/ML frameworks, with familiarity with libraries and frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch.
- Experience working with language model APIs and optimizing their use for specific applications.
- Experience with Python, C++, Java, R, and SQL.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong client-facing and cross-functional collaboration skills in a consulting environment.
