Base Salary
$140k - $170k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test embedded software for body, thermal, lighting, and door functions.
- Create software requirements, design documentation, and test plans.
- Collaborate with vehicle, controls, electrical, and validation engineers.
- Integrate supplier sub-systems into the Zoox software stack.
- Contribute to all phases of the software development cycle.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, Robotics, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
- 1+ years of experience developing real-time embedded software for distributed electro-mechanical systems.
- Strong C++/C programming experience and object-oriented programming skills.
- Experience with embedded micro-controllers and/or microprocessors (ARM, PowerPC or equivalent).
- Understanding of various sensors, motors, and actuators.
- Hands-on experience with hardware bring-up and system debugging.
