Base Salary
$140k - $170k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test embedded software for vehicle body, thermal, lighting, and door functions.
- Create software requirements, design documentation, test plans, and supporting documentation.
- Integrate supplier subsystems into the Zoox software stack.
- Contribute to prototyping, requirements capture, design, implementation, and validation.
- Collaborate with vehicle, controls, electrical, validation, systems, and software engineers and suppliers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, Robotics, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
- At least 1 year of experience developing real-time embedded software for distributed electromechanical systems.
- Strong C++ and C programming experience and object-oriented programming knowledge.
- Experience with embedded microcontrollers or microprocessors such as ARM or PowerPC.
- Understanding of sensors, motors, and actuators.
- Hands-on experience with hardware bring-up and system debugging.
- Basic knowledge of control systems for electromechanical systems is preferred.
- Experience with CAN and LIN analysis and debugging tools such as PCAN, CANalyzer, and CANape is preferred.
