Responsibilities
- Define and maintain the AI architecture roadmap, platforms, tools, frameworks, integration patterns, and reusable design standards.
- Translate business needs into scalable AI solution architectures aligned with technology, data, security, privacy, and compliance requirements.
- Design, prototype, and guide implementation of end-to-end production AI systems, including data pipelines, model workflows, deployment, monitoring, evaluation, and lifecycle management.
- Establish architectural guardrails for generative AI, machine learning, LLMs, RAG, intelligent agents, APIs, and model integration patterns.
- Prototype and deliver AI solutions integrated with enterprise systems including ERP, MES, PLM, and APIs.
- Build RAG, LLM workflow and agent, document intelligence, and enterprise search capabilities.
- Establish AI data architecture standards for semantic models, metadata, taxonomy, lineage, and access.
- Implement production-readiness practices including evaluation datasets, hallucination testing, human-in-the-loop processes, and observability.
- Lead technical vendor validation and build-versus-buy analysis through prototyping and benchmarking.
- Create reusable accelerators, modular components, decision records, implementation playbooks, design patterns, and technical documentation.
- Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and architectural review for teams building AI-enabled products, platforms, and internal capabilities.
- Communicate architecture strategy, tradeoffs, risks, and opportunities to senior technology and business leaders.
Requirements
- A university degree, such as a bachelor’s degree, or equivalent relevant work experience is required.
- At least 8 years of experience delivering production AI/ML solutions with hands-on engineering experience.
- Expertise in LLMs, RAG, vector databases, and agent-based systems.
- Experience with AI frameworks and tools including LangChain, LlamaIndex, Semantic Kernel, OpenAI, and Azure OpenAI.
- Strong background in enterprise AI integration and data ecosystems.
- Proven ability to lead vendor evaluation and build-versus-buy decisions.
- Experience designing model development workflows, deployment, monitoring, evaluation, governance, and lifecycle management.
- Preferred experience with the Microsoft/Azure AI stack, including Azure OpenAI, AI Search, Fabric, and Power Platform.
- Strong communication, organization, planning, time management, interpersonal, collaboration, and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage competing tasks, work effectively with internal and external stakeholders, and operate with integrity in fast-moving environments.
- Professional proficiency in spoken and written English.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

- Annual salary range of EUR 45,403.00 to EUR 62,428.30.
