Responsibilities
- Develop, ship, and maintain AI/ML and generative AI services for Apple hardware product development teams.
- Build infrastructure, evaluation pipelines, and integration workflows for AI/ML applications.
- Create software that provides data insights and supports decision-making across Hardware Engineering and related teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners and customers to iterate on effective solutions.
- Design reusable, modular systems and evaluate complex AI systems to produce actionable hypotheses.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- At least 3 years of professional software engineering experience using Python or another object-oriented programming language.
- Ability to write applications in a high-level language such as Python, Ruby, or Java.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Preferred: master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Preferred: experience with LLMs, custom ML model training, RAG or agentic pipelines, data analysis and visualization, AI system evaluation, Kubernetes, cloud deployment platforms, and modular system architecture.
