Responsibilities
- Implement, configure, and sustain Azure Government cloud infrastructure for training and Test & Evaluation operations
- Maintain Azure environments across IL4, IL5, and emerging IL6 enclaves in compliance with DoD cybersecurity requirements
- Provision and manage cloud networking, storage, identity, and access controls
- Maintain configuration control and consistency across development, test, staging, and operational environments
- Implement security controls and support RMF, ATO, audit readiness, patching, vulnerability remediation, and compliance documentation
- Integrate and sustain DevSecOps pipelines and Infrastructure as Code solutions
- Support OneSAF migration and sustainment activities for simulation, training, and experimentation systems
- Onboard mission partners, capabilities, distributed Test & Evaluation platforms, and mission systems
- Monitor platform performance, availability, and operational health during mission-critical events
- Troubleshoot cloud infrastructure, networking, identity, and security issues in classified and constrained environments
- Coordinate with cybersecurity personnel, system administrators, software developers, architects, and government stakeholders
- Develop technical documentation, standard operating procedures, architecture diagrams, and configuration baselines
- Modernize and optimize cloud environments for scalability, resiliency, and operational efficiency
Requirements
- Active Secret security clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 10+ years of cloud infrastructure engineering or systems engineering experience in enterprise or Department of Defense environments
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure Government cloud environments and IL4 and IL5 environments
- Experience with Azure networking, virtual machines, storage accounts, identity services, and security controls
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep
- Experience supporting DevSecOps pipelines and CI/CD workflows
- Familiarity with RMF, STIG compliance, cybersecurity sustainment, and ATO processes
- Experience troubleshooting complex cloud infrastructure and networking issues
- Understanding of Entra ID, conditional access, identity and access management, and role-based access control
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work independently in classified, mission-critical environments
- Preferred: Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate or Azure Security Engineer Associate certification
- Preferred: Experience with DoD Test & Evaluation, simulation, cyber, training, LVC, distributed simulation, or OneSAF environments
- Preferred: Experience with Microsoft Sentinel, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Kubernetes, containerization, hybrid cloud architectures, or classified disconnected cloud operations
