Responsibilities
- Lead the development of deep learning and machine learning models for high-volume workflows.
- Design and build Gen AI LLM/VLM solutions for self-driving car behavior analysis.
- Monitor best practices from Alphabet and the industry for reinforcement learning systems.
- Enhance user feedback analysis and implement tools for multi-label classifications.
- Oversee production and optimization of machine learning models for Waymo's fleet.
- Drive technical direction and provide guidance to the team.
- Collaborate with PMs and TPMs to define product requirements.
Requirements
- B.S. in Computer Science, Robotics, Machine Learning, or equivalent experience.
- Strong coding experience in C++ and/or Python.
- Experience in foundational models, VLM, or deep learning.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in machine learning projects.
- Experience with ML frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Hugging Face.
