Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and automated test scripts for avionics software.
- Execute software tests and document test results and findings.
- Perform verification activities using hardware-in-the-loop test rigs.
- Identify, analyze, and report software defects and anomalies.
- Collaborate with software, systems, and integration engineers to resolve issues.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety requirements.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and software quality.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Software Tester in avionics, automotive, or embedded systems.
- Experience with hardware-in-the-loop test environments such as dSpace or similar platforms.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and verification processes.
- Experience with test automation frameworks and scripting languages.
- Ability to work independently and in cross-functional engineering teams.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Fluency in English.
- Experience with both high-level and low-level software testing is meritorious.
- Familiarity with DO-178C or similar avionics software standards is meritorious.
- Knowledge of safety-critical software development processes is meritorious.
- Experience in agile development environments, technical documentation, communication, and relevant testing or avionics certifications are meritorious.
