Responsibilities
- Participate in team discussions, decisions, and technical design processes.
- Write production software with meaningful impact on Stripe’s business and users.
- Give and receive technical feedback through code reviews and design discussions.
- Collaborate with engineers and cross-functional stakeholders to incorporate feedback.
- Learn unfamiliar systems, communicate work status clearly, and use current AI tooling to accelerate development while validating its outputs.
Requirements
- Pursue a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, math, or a related discipline, with strong computer science fundamentals.
- Have programming experience through side projects or classwork.
- Have experience from previous internships or other multi-person projects, including open source contributions, demonstrating the ability to evaluate and receive feedback.
- Be able to learn unfamiliar systems through independent research and mentorship.
- Use AI tools with critical thinking and professional judgment to review, refine, and validate outputs.
