Responsibilities
- Develop software supporting industrial automation and drilling technologies.
- Participate in software design, development, testing, code reviews, and technical discussions.
- Learn multiple software technologies through structured training and certification modules.
- Collaborate with experienced software engineers on real customer projects.
- Troubleshoot software and system issues using structured problem-solving techniques.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and product development.
- Build knowledge across product teams through two six-month rotational assignments.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Automation, Cybernetics, Mechatronics, or a related discipline, with graduation between 2024 and 2026.
- Knowledge of programming principles and software development fundamentals.
- Experience with at least one of Python, C#, C++, PHP, or JavaScript.
- Strong analytical and logical thinking, communication, collaboration, initiative, curiosity, and problem-solving skills.
- English proficiency is required; Norwegian is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Preferred qualifications include PLC programming exposure with Siemens STEP7 or TIA Portal, database knowledge, networking fundamentals, cybersecurity awareness, Git or version control, and interest in industrial automation or robotics.
- Applicants must have the legal right to work in Norway.
