Responsibilities
- Own large areas of the product and codebase
- Build full-stack, product-focused features and end-to-end solutions
- Make effective technical decisions across frontend and backend systems
- Help develop engineering team processes and culture
- Assess the feasibility of new initiatives and identify resources needed for successful delivery
- Contribute to growing the engineering team by helping attract and hire teammates
Requirements
- Experience building products from the ground up at early-stage startups or through greenfield projects
- Ability to work across frontend and backend systems and understand technical challenges end to end
- Ability to lead as a technical expert across a broad product and technical surface area
- Strong ownership, initiative, problem-solving, and execution skills
- Ability to understand business context and focus on solving the right problems
- Ability to assess initiative feasibility, identify needed resources, and help attract and hire teammates
- Experience in high-security industries such as finance or healthcare is a plus
- Experience with health data or the healthcare industry is a plus
- Experience with AWS infrastructure is a plus
