
Software Engineer, Vision and Robotics

Responsibilities
- Develop and improve software products for vision and robotic applications.
- Maintain software applications in accordance with operating models and applicable standards.
- Ensure code quality through reviews, documentation, and adherence to coding and architectural guidelines.
- Contribute to automation strategy, technical requirements, and product requirements with the business.
- Test and validate functionality on local test loops and at project sites.
- Design and implement interfaces between software components and robotic controls.
- Integrate data from cameras, LiDAR, encoders, safety sensors, and other sensors.
- Support project implementation, site integration, training sessions, and feedback-driven product improvements.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to evaluate technologies for automation and system integration.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree, or equivalent qualification, in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- Solid proficiency developing real-time applications in C# and Python.
- Expertise in classical computer vision, 3D geometry, point cloud processing, and object recognition.
- Experience or interest in machine learning and signal processing.
- Experience developing and maintaining software architectures using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of software design principles, design patterns, and effort estimation.
- Hands-on experience with version control systems such as Git, software prototyping, and conceptualization.
- Understanding of high-level robotic-system integration and software-to-robot-control interfaces.
- Innovative thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills, communication skills, teamwork, and willingness to learn.
