Responsibilities
- Implement and fine-tune pre-trained AI models for specific industry needs.
- Use AWS Bedrock, Amazon SageMaker, Amazon Rekognition, and OpenAI to develop and deploy AI solutions.
- Use AWS data services including Amazon Athena, Amazon Redshift, OpenSearch, Kendra, and AWS Glue for data processing and analysis.
- Optimize models for performance, accuracy, efficiency, and reliability, including reducing AI hallucinations.
- Apply Retrieval-Augmented Generation, prompt engineering, vector databases, and similarity search techniques.
- Integrate AI capabilities into products and services in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Stay current with AI technologies and contribute to adopting new tools and techniques.
- Lead AI/ML projects and manage and support the growth of a team of AI engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of hands-on AI/ML development experience focused on AWS-based AI services.
- Advanced Python proficiency and expertise with TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras.
- Extensive experience with Amazon SageMaker, AWS Bedrock, and Azure OpenAI integrations.
- In-depth knowledge of AWS data services including Amazon Athena, Amazon Redshift, and AWS Glue.
- Expertise in agentic AI and deploying models with CrewAI, LangGraph, and LangChain.
- Experience with vector databases, similarity search, data preprocessing, feature engineering, and large-scale model evaluation.
- Knowledge of CNNs, RNNs, transformers, AI/ML algorithms, and architectures, with experience building end-to-end solutions.
- Ability to lead AI/ML projects and communicate complex concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Preferred experience with Amazon Connect and AWS AI Services, Apache Spark or Hadoop, and data visualization.
- Relevant AWS certifications, such as AWS Certified Generative AI Developer—Professional, AWS Certified Machine Learning—Associate, or AWS Certified AI Practitioner, are highly desirable.
